Since I feel the need to congratulate myself, I was pumped to see that a thread at the Brian Michael Bendis forums contained a picture of the "Fuck Lucas" tee. Check it out here: 606Studios.com

The (hopefully) final edit of Victory! is complete, and it shouldn't be too long before I'm sending it off to publishers. While working on other projects is great, it's nice to come back to Victory! and keep trying to give it a fair push. So if you want to make me smile, pass the link along, download it, leave a comment, buy a shirt, and send me an email.

P.S. If you're an artist with an interest in bringing a miniseries to life, send me an email.

Take it easy,
Allen

Hey, long time no see, huh? First and foremost, I apologize for the infrequent site updates. I kind of got wrapped up in finishing my comic book script, and forgot that people might still be checking out Victory! I don't think the reason the counter isn't up to 1,203,201 is because people came here, saw that I hadn't updated in months, and said, "Well, nevermind then."

Maybe I'm wrong?

In any case, Victory! is now being edited once again (by the more trustworthy eyes of my brother's caretaker), in the hopes that it will be published somewhere...anywhere.

On top of that, we still have PLENTY of t-shirts. So make sure you tell your friends they can still buy a shirt that has the word 'fuck' on it.

Until later,
Allen

I did a blog/podcast interview the other night with the fine dudes at The AV Room. Go over there and check it out. In the podcast we talk about a number of topics, including (but not limited to) Star Wars, Victory!, comic conventions, nerd culture, and a lot more I'm forgetting right now. After the next few conventions, I will most likely call into the podcast again and give them my thoughts on the cons - so be sure to check for updates.

That's all for now.

Just a few updates for today:

First and foremost, I'm sorry if anyone went to Gem City Comicon in the hopes of meeting Team Victory!/buying a shirt. Time and money has unfortunately become more of a factor than originally anticipated, and we weren't able to make it to Ohio. I hope people still went out, and I hope everyone in attendance had a blast.

Secondly, I want to thank www.slashfilm.com for plugging us on their site. In the past few days the number of hits/shirts ordered has drastically increased, mostly due to them. So follow the link, and check out them out.

Thirdly, we're gearing up for the New York City Comicon, and it's looking more and more ridiculous. If you're in the NYC area, or willing to take a trip, definitely go. Even if you hate Victory!, Frank Miller is going to be there - and if you hate him, you probably hate anything remotely awesome.

Take it easy.

Hey, I just want to thank everyone who stopped by the booth at Wizard World Los Angeles. It was an amazing experience, and I met some amazing people. There was something surreal about seeing the Chief from Battlestar Galactica just browsing around artist alley, and to receive a nod of the head from him was somehow an honor.

I want to plug my neighbor at Wizard World, Frank Forte. Frank rocks Asylum Press (www.asylumpress.com), and was no stranger to the peanut butter & fluff sandwich. A class act, and I wish nothing but success for him.

And to the dude who kept hooking up Team Victory! with contacts/information: you have restored my faith in humanity. Apparently not everyone does something just to benefit from it. I'm sorry I've forgotten your name, but you know who you are - and you should be proud of it.

Well, there's a break before the next conventions, so Team Victory! is going to rest and come out swinging again. In the meantime, feel free to use the contact/comment pages as often as you see fit.

Keep it real.

Well, ConNooga has come and gone and it proved to be quite…interesting. Although the attendance was pretty lackluster, the Saturday night room parties were a different experience altogether. Words don't even adequately describe some of what I saw there - one must experience the combination of fandom, booze, and ridiculous costumes firsthand. Also, I met a couple of worthwhile characters, including (but not limited to) the Monday Night Crew (www.mondaynightcrew.com), and Felix Silla (www.felixsilla.com) - a man who once donned an Ewok costume.

Team Victory! is preparing to head to the west coast for next weekend's Wizard World LA. Just from the lineup alone, this convention is looking pretty out of control. Let's hope.

Also, I just want to remind any of the obviously misdirected souls who have stumbled upon this site that the merchandise section is fully operational. And since we've learned from our mistakes in Chattanooga, XXL shirts are now available.
